Q: I've never used an English Wheel, will I be able to use one?

A: Just about anyone can learn to use an English Wheel. As with most things, use of an English Wheel is an acquired skill. The more familiar you become with the tool, the better you will be at using it. To get you started, we offer an Eastwood video on "Using The English Wheel". This video focuses on the Interchangeable English Wheel./Planishing Hammer, but is a great tool for getting you started.

Q: I am competent at welding, can I make my own frame and just buy the other components?

A: EnglishWheels.com sells a Weld-It-Yourself English Wheel Kit and also sells the English Wheel components.

Q: What kind of throat depth do your English Wheels feature?

A: Our Large Frame English Wheel has a 28" Throat Depth, and our Interchangeable Planishing Hammer/English Wheel has a 22" Throat Depth.
